Prof. Ewa Żymańczyk-Duda was graduated from the Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology at Wrocław University of Science and Technology with the master’s degree in biotechnology. In 1995, She received the doctoral degree in chemical sciences, completing the doctor studies at Faculty of Chemistry at Wrocław University of Sciences and Technology. Ewa Żymańczyk-Duda is currently a professor at Wrocław University of Science and Technology (Faculty of Chemistry) and Vice-Leader of Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, there She leads the Laboratory of Biotechnology. As scientist She develops biocatalytical procedures meant to deliver the products of high added value, important and useful for different branches such as medical, agricultural or nutritional ones. At Her maternal university, She is involved in many didactic and scientific undertakings. In private she keens on reading, movie watching and especially trekking cross the mountains. She knows that, her joy of life is hidden in the mountains and at the polish, Baltic sea side.
